Advisement

All students are required to see their advisor at least once each semester immediately prior to formal registration for the following semester(s). 

B.S. in Chemical Engineering

Registration holds are removed following the meeting. All undergraduates must schedule their appointment with Dr. Gordana Obuskovic by email (gordana.obuskovic@njit.edu) or 973-596-5451.

Some freshmen are assigned courses (Chem 121-122-123; Math 098; 103-104; Phys. 105-106; Eng 095-HSS 099-HSS 100) and/or lightened credit loads.  It is particularly important for these students to see their advisor to plan their courses for subsequent semesters. 

Completing pre-requisites for sophomore courses may involve attending summer sessions and/or spending an additional semester at NJIT.

Office Hours

Office hours are posted on the office door of the individual faculty member and in the Department office. Appointments at other hours may be made directly with the individual instructor.
